JSPS is calling for guest researchers.
(1) Foreign Guest Researcher (short term)
1st: Time limit for application: 31st, July 2007
Total number for all institutes in Japan: 150 persons
2nd: Time limit for application: 31st, March 2008
Total number for all institutes in Japan: 70 persons
JSPS will supply:
Transportation (international air ticket) + 150,000 yen for domestic
trip
Accommodation: 18,000 yen / day
Research budget: 50,000 yen to host researcher.
(2) Foreign Guest Researcher (long term)
Time limit for application to NILIM: 31st, July, 2007
Total number for all institutes in Japan: 70 persons
JSPS will supply:
Transportation (international air ticket) + 100,000 yen for domestic
trip
Research budget: 40,000 yen for the person, & 50,000 yen for host
research.
Accommodation: 369,000 yen / month
(3) Foreign Special Researcher (fellowship)
(Basically, researchers who has just get doctor's degree)
1st: Time limit for application: 31st, July 2007
Total number for all institutes in Japan: 200 persons
2nd: Time limit for application: 31st, March 2008
Total number for all institutes in Japan: 200 persons
JSPS will supply:
Transportation (international air ticket) + 58,500 yen / year for
domestic trip
Accommodation: 364,000 yen / month + initial 200,000 yen
Research budget: the person can apply to research fund
