Function title: Ph.D. candidate (AIO) in the field of Research in
Management
Ph.D. candidate (AIO) in the field of Research in Management
In the four-year ERIM Ph.D. program all Ph.D. candidates follow a
state-of-the-art Ph.D. course program, which fits their academic background
and research interest. During the project, senior ERIM Research Fellows and
Members coach the Ph.D. candidate.
Research projects are offered in one of the following fields: Business
Processes, Logistics Management and Information Systems; Organization;
Marketing; Finance & Accounting; Strategy & Entrepreneurship. Please note
that you will have to apply for specific projects which are mentioned on
the ERIM website.
Requirements

Required education/skills: Required education/skills: A Master's degree
with excellent results in one of the various disciplines such as: business
administration, economics, econometrics, psychology, behavioral sciences,
technical sciences and law. Candidates should also show explicit interest
in and motivation for scientific research. All applicants are required to
enclose their GRE or GMAT test scores.

Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM) is the research institute
in the domain of Management at the Erasmus University, founded by the
Rotterdam School of Management and the School of Economics. The level and
international character of their international research and teaching
programs has put both schools at the academic forefront. They offer a
diversified portfolio of accredited teaching and research programs, ranging
from pre-experience M.Sc. to postgraduate Master and executive development,
and from fundamental research to applied research and business support,
which are renowned throughout the world. The Rotterdam School of Management
is one of the few schools that hold a triple accreditation from the
Association of MBA's, EQUIS and the AASCB and is positioned among the top
five of European Business Schools (The School is ranked number 3 on
research in Europe in the Financial Times Ranking, published January 2002).
Examples of research areas of the Rotterdam School of Economics are
business economics, financial economics and traffic and transport related
economics. The scientific staffs of both schools play a major role in the
interaction of the schools with the international business community.

Employment basis: Temporary for specified period
Duration of the contract: 48 months

Salary in accordance with the collective agreement (CAO) of Dutch
universities.
First year € 1501 gross per month, increasing to € 2143 gross per month in
