Memang ada bedanya antara RELIGIOUS Experience dan
Spiritual Experience. By definition, religious
experience itu SELALU ada kaitannya dengan RELIGIONS
(agama2) --- Lihat saja SUHU saya Pak William James,
pelopor Psikologi Modern dari AS yang menulis his
masterpiece berjudul: VARIETIES OF RELIGIOUS
EXPERIENCE (ca early 20th century). Well,... buku itu
salah satu pegangan saya, walopun benernya saya ini
GAK SUKA pegang apa2 selain barang sendiri, hmmm hmmm
hmmm...

Kalo SPIRITUAL Experience itu _tidak harus_ ada
kaitannya dengan agama2. Spirit is Batin,... jadi
Spiritual Experience is Pengalaman Batin. Bisa juga
disebut sebagai Pengalaman Rohani atau Kejiwaan. Jiwa
is PSYCHE dan, as we all know, everybody has it, hmmm
hmmm hmm...

Therefore, even orang2 yang TIDAK beragama atau yang
SUDAH meninggalkan agama2 itu tetap saja BISA memiliki
pengalaman spiritual / batin / rohani/ kejiwaan...
seperti merasakan KESADARAN KOSMIK (Cosmic
Consciusness), or even berhubungan dengan "ROH2 BAIK"
who are none other than our own HIGHER SELVES. Nah,
pengertian terakhir itu berasal dari Suhu saya yang
laen lagi nyang namanya Mbah Carl Gustav Jung, seorang
pelopor Psikologi Modern juga dari jenis Depth
Psychology alias Psikologi Remang2, hmmm hmmm hmmm...

[psikologi_transformatif] Keajaiban Itu Hadir

Keajaiban Itu Hadir

Pernahkah dalam hidup anda terjadi sebuah keajaiban? Jika anda
berpikir hidup anda penuh keajaiban maka setiap hari anda akan
mengalami keajaiban. Keajaiban hadir ketika diri kita berpikir bahwa
hidup ini penuh keberkahan yang mesti disyukuri.

Pada Jumat malam yang lalu. Ditengah hujan deras dan jalanan Jakarta
digenangi banjir. dari Cipulir sampai Jalan Haji Mencong saya berjalan
kaki sambil melewati deras luapan air di tiga titik, sungai
Pesanggarahan, Deplu Budi Luhur dan Puri Beta 2. Mas Herry sempat telp
saya dua kali sampai dimana saya. Saya katakan padanya, saya sedang
menikmati indahnya Jakarta ditengah genangan air. Untungnya saya tidak
sendiri, saya bersama puluhan orang yang menyeberangi genangan air
sampai sepinggang orang dewasa.

Saat itu saya bisa merasakan keajaiban hidup, ketika saya berpikir
bahwa hidup ini indah, ditengah kesulitan perjalanan yang jauh saya
tidak merasakan capek bahkan saya masih sempat menggendong seorang
anak kecil dan menuntun seorang ibu yang kelelahan yang sempat
terpeleset ketika menyeberangi deras air di depan puri beta 2.

Sesampai dirumah, istri saya bertanya "tadi naik apa mas?" "
"Dari Cipulir sampai rumah jalan kaki" Jawab saya.
"Hah! Jalan kaki.." kata istri saya menatap tidak percaya.

Keajaiban itu hanya hadir bagi mereka yang memiliki kepasrahan
mengikuti sunatullah dalam jiwanya. Apapun yang ditanam itulah yang
dipetik. Apapun yang kita lakukan, kitalah yang menikmati.

[beasiswa] [Info] ADB - Japan Scholarship Program, University of Melbourne

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) - Japan Scholarship Program (JSP) was
established in April 1988 with financing from the Government of Japan. It
aims to provide an opportunity for well-qualified citizens of ADB's
developing member countries to pursue postgraduate studies in economics,
management, science and technology, and other development-related fields at
participating academic institutions in the Asian and Pacific Region. The
ADB-JSP enrolls about 300 students annually in 20 academic institutions
located in 10 countries within the Region.

University of Melbourne is one of institutions participating in this ADB-JSP
scholarship program.

Below are programs offered (Masters by Coursework):

* Business Administration
* Commerce
* Commerce (specializing in Economics or Finance)
* Engineering
* International Business
* Public Health
* Agribusiness, Agricultural Sciences, and Forest Science

SCHOLARSHIP DESCRIPTION

The ADB-JSP provides full scholarships for one to two years.

* full tuition fees
* a monthly subsistence and housing allowance
* an allowance for books and instructional materials
* medical insurance
* travel expenses

The scholarship is for one year with an extension to the second year of
study, as appropriate, which shall be conditional on the scholar maintaining
a satisfactory level of performance as determined by the institute. The
maximum duration of scholarship award is two years for masters and doctorate
programs.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

* A national of an ADB borrowing member country (applicants from
countries that are no longer borrowing from ADB are not eligible for the
ADB-JSP Scholarship).
* Gained admission to an approved post graduate course in any of the
participating academic institutions. (University of Melbourne)
* A bachelor's degree or its equivalent with superior academic record.
* At least two (2) years of full-time professional working experience
* Proficiency in oral and written English communication skills to be
able to pursue studies.
* Not more than 35 years old at the time of application.
* In good health.
* Should agree to return to his/her home county after completion of
studies under the Program.
* Staff of participating academic institutions are not eligible for the
Scholarship.
* Executive Directors, Alternate Directors, management and staff of ADB,
consultants, and relatives of the aforementioned are not eligible for the
Scholarship.
* Executive Directors, Alternate Directors, management and staff of the
other international organizations are not eligible for the Scholarship.
* Applicants living or working in a country other than his/her home
country are not eligible for the Scholarship.

DEADLINE MARET 2008

Upon completion of their study programs, scholars are expected to contribute
to the economic and social development of their home countries.
