Yogyakarta International Videoworks Festival/YIVF #03

Kepada teman-teman,


Kembali House of Natural Fiber/HONF menggelar "Yogyakarta Intrnational
Videoworks Festival: YIVF #03", dengan tema "BASIC FRAME" yang akan
diadakan pada 25 November - 15 Desember 2007. Dalam festival ini akan
dilaksanakan residensi selama 20 hari untuk 10 seniman yang sudah
terpilih (5 seniman dari US, Singapore, UK, Jerman dan 5 seniman
terpilih dari beberapa propinsi di Indonesia). Lalu hasilnya akan di
projeksikan pada ruang-ruang umum di berbagai lokasi tengah kota
Yogyakarta. Selain itu mereka akan mempresentasikan, workshop dan
mendiskusikan karya mereka di beberapa kampus. Program lain dalam
festival ini adalah "CALL FOR WORKS", dimana siapapun dapat mengirim
karya videonya, kemudian akan kami tampilkan pada 5 tempat yang
berbeda di Yogyakarta.

Untuk open "CALL FOR WORKS", syaratnya adalah:
1. Karya belum pernah diikutkan dalam festival video lain di Indonesia
2. Karya dibuat tahun 2003 - 2007
3. Karya dalam formatVCD/DVD (kami tidak menerima format Mpeg,avi,
guicktime)
4. Durasi maksimal 20 menit
5. Tulis nama dan judul pada disc
6. Menyertai CV dan konsep, tidak lebih dari 3 halaman
7. Batas akhir pengiriman pada 10 November 2007 (cap pos)
8. Tulis "Basic Frame" pada kanan atas amplop, dan kirimkan ke:

Kami tidak menanggung biaya kirim maupun pengembalian karya, karya
yang nantinya kami terima akan disimpan dalam arsip HONF dan dapat di
saksikan oleh siapapun setelah festival YIVF #03 di HONF space.

Dear evryone,

Once more House of Natural Fiber/HONF organize "Yogyakarta
Intrnational Videoworks Festival: YIVF #03", with the theme "BASIC
FRAME" it will be held on November 25 - December 15,2007. In this
festival, will includes; 20 days residencies for ten selected artist
(5 artists from US, Singapore, UK, Germany, and 5 from diferent
province in Indonesia) and their collaboration or any result will be
present at unpredictable public spaces in random place round the city.
Other things they gonna do is: workshop for public, presentations and
discussion in some university. We also invite open 'call for works',
so anyone can send their works to us, and we will screen it on 5
diferent spaces in Yogyakarta.

For open "CALL FOR WORKS", everyone could send their work with
specification:
1. The work must never publish to any other Indonesian festival before,
2. The work must be produce on 2003 - 2007
3. VCD/DVD formatted (we do not accepted mpeg,avi, or quicktime format)
4. Duration max 20 min
5. Write your name and title on disc
6. Write your CV, and concept in no longer than 3 folio's pages
7. Deadline is on 10 November 2007 postal stamp
8. Indicate "Basic Frame" on the top left corner of the envelope and
send it to:

We can't give any money for postal cost and we also can't send back
the works after finish. We fell sory for this, but we will archive
your videowork and anyone who come to HONF space could wacth it
anytime after the YIVF #03 festival.
